<p><b>It is with great sadness that the family of Yvonne Lavinia Strickland (Fudge), age 71, announce her passing at the Carmelite House, Grand Falls-Windsor on Monday, December 8, 2025. Yvonne was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend whose warmth, kindness and spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.</b></p><p><b><br></b></p><p><b>Yvonne was predeceased by her parents, Ralph and Lavinia Fudge; parents in law, Chesley and Minnie Strickland; sister, Edith Willcott (brother in law, Rod); brother-in-law, Tom; in-laws, Fred (Laura), Rosemary (Klaus), Sydney and Howard (Gen); as well as other relatives and friends.</b></p><p><b><br></b></p><p><b>Yvonne leaves to mourn her loving family: husband, Dave; son, Jason (wife, Gayla); daughter, Jennifer (husband, Bruce); precious grandsons, John, Wesley, Liam and Luke, who she truly adored, and Blaise, who she loved with all her heart; siblings, Helen (Gord), Don (Roberta), Sadie (Bill), Hubert (Monica), Ivy (Ken), Ralph (Ann Marie), Kevin, Kim (Ches) and Denise (Al); in-laws, Claude (Mary), Eleanor (Ewald), Junior (Edith) and Nita (Fred); special friend, Joan; her nieces and nephews; many special friends and other family members.</b></p><p><b><br></b></p><p><b>Visitations took place on Tuesday, December 9 from 7pm to 9pm and Wednesday, December 10 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Christ Church, Milltown.</b></p><p><b><br></b></p><p><b>Funeral Service was held on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at 11:00am at Christ Church at Milltown with Rev. Ayobami Ayorinde officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Milltown.</b></p><p><b><br></b></p><p><b>The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Carmelite house for your care and support through the past six weeks.</b></p><p><b><br></b></p><p><br></p>February 27, 1954 - December 8, 202502/27/195412/08/2025

Aunt Yvonne always had a genuine warmth with a smile. We always felt right at home during our summer visits and never went without. I will miss her but all those wonderful memories will remain.

Yvonne is my aunt, I’ve only seen her a handful of times visiting Newfoundland, but I assure you every time I did she knew how to put a smile on my face, a very warm soul. Rest easy Yvonne. ❤️
