Obituary

Doreen Anderchek

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Muriel Doreen Anderchek (nee Coulson) on March 26, 2026.

Doreen was the beloved wife of the late Ben Anderchek and loving mother of Patricia (Jim), Mary (Rick), Jeanne (Dave), David (Sandy), Michael, Katherine, Brian (Vicki) and the proud grandmother to 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.  She will be deeply missed by all.

Doreen was born in the old family farm house on the Guelph Line and was the youngest of 11 children (all deceased).  She was an avid quilter.  Children and grandchildren have all been blessed with these colourful, beautiful hand quilted memories.

The family wants to thank the Acclaim Health Palliative Care Team and the Milton Support for Daily Living PSW team for their compassionate care which allowed Doreen to remain in her home in a world that she loved up to her last days.

The family will receive visitors at McKersie & Early Funeral Home on Tuesday March 31, 2026 from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m.  There will be a vigil at 8 p.m. with eulogies and selected music.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday April 1, 2026 at 11 a.m. from Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 139 Martin Street, Milton.  Interment to follow at Milton Evergreen Cemetery.

Donations in memory of Doreen to the Townsend Smith Hospice Foundation are greatly appreciated.
