JARMAN, Carolyn M.

81, of Brooksville, Fl. passed away peacefully at home on April 14, 2026 after a brief illness. Born on March 23, 1945 in Wilmington, Delaware, to Mitchell N. and Emily R. Molin, Carolyn is survived by sons Kevin (Amy) and Keith (Kelly) Jarman, grandchildren Kelsey, Riley, Ashley, Jacy, and Preston; brother Tom, his wife Liz and her Niece Alexis; adored nieces and nephews, cousins, caregivers Mariley Padron and Nikola Martinez for whose love and support the entire family is forever grateful, and Bern Lewandowski whose lifelong friendship she cherished until her final days.

Carolyn was a 1963 graduate of Pierre S. Dupont High School. After marrying Kenneth L. Jarman in 1966, she worked for John Wannamaker in Wilmington, becoming the youngest store manager at the time.

While starting a family, Carolyn also went to work for the Weyerhaeuser family, in a small office that managed their trusts but her focus as a young wife and mother was always on “her boys”. When both of her sons were in elementary school, Carolyn rose from an accounting associate for three design-build construction companies, eventually becoming a partner in those

Carolyn always had a strong desire to help others. After relocating to Florida in 1985, she went back to school, graduating from Pasco-Hernando State College and later attending St. Leo University. Focused on Social Work, Carolyn spearheaded a social ministry for elderly congregants at Holy Cross Lutheran Church where her family worshiped, and later advocated for the elderly as a court appointed guardian for those in need. It was this work where she was most fulfilled. Her work in this capacity throughout Hernando County led to many instances during her final years where doctors, nurses and other medical staff would comment to family that they knew her well from her tireless work advocating for those who couldn’t advocate for themselves.

Carolyn was loved deeply by all, especially her family. Carolyn was a wonderful mother, mother-in-law, and the best Grandmother. Carolyn was fully involved and there for everyone in her family at any time she was needed, and we are so grateful for the love she gave to us and our children.

She will be deeply missed and always in our hearts.

March 23, 1945 - April 14, 202603/23/194504/14/2026
