<p><p>Carol Jean (McFarland) Baker, 75 of Plymouth, Indiana passed away April 14, 2026, at 8:05 a.m. at Miller's Merry Manor, Plymouth, Indiana. On May 27, 1950, in Winamac, Indiana, she was born to Bennie L McFarland & Dorothy Josephine (Thompson) McFarland. Carol lived most of her life in the Argos community.</p><br> <p>On December 24, 1982, in North Marshall County, Indiana married Billy F. Baker, and together they shared the next 20 years before Billy passed away on September 21, 2002.</p><br> <p>Carol worked at Reynolds Aluminum, Bourbon, Indiana and Universal Bearings in Bremen, Indiana. She later worked at Home Health Care for Help at Home, South Bend, Indiana.</p><br> <p>She was raised in the Santa Ann United Methodist Church, Argos, Indiana; and had attended New Song in Plymouth and Walnut Church in Argos. Carol was a graduate of Argos High School in the class of 1969 and was a 10-year Marshall County 4-H member. She volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House and was a former member of the ITPA Harness Racing Association.</p><br> <p>Carol is survived by her Brother – Rex McFarland and wife Nancy of Argos, Indiana</p><br> <p>Great Grandson whom she raised – Jeremy Baker</p><br> <p>And 4 nieces and nephews</p><br> <p>She is preceded in death by her Parents; Husband; Daughters - Christina and Cathlina; Sisters – Jacqueline Mae Fitz and Rebecca McFarland </p><br> <p><b>Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday April 21, 2026, from 5 p.m. – 6 p.m. at Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos, Indiana. Funeral Services will follow at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Richard Dean.
