<p><p>Barbara Jobes Ramsey left us on April 14, 2026, after a long illness. At the time of her passing she lived in Asheville, North Carolina. </p><p><br></p><p>She was born in Melbourne, Florida on January 11, 1956, moved to North Carolina in 1972 and then to Black Mountain in 1973. She graduated from Charles D. Owen High School in Black Mountain and was married to Donald W. Ramsey. </p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her two daughters, Elizabeth (Beth) Alice Ramsey and Shenna Diondra Perez-Cardosa, two grandchildren, Joseph Thomas and Rosy Isabella Perez-Cardosa, one brother, Charles D. Jobes and two sisters, Janet S. Jobes and Elizabeth J. Alston. </p><p><br></p><p>A Committal Ceremony will be held in the Memorial Garden at St. James Episcopal Church in Black Mountain.</p><p><br></p></p>
