Obituary for Benjamin “Big Ben” Tui Iosefa

March 26, 1976 – March 29, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Benjamin “Big Ben” Tui Iosefa, a devoted husband, loving father, and a man whose kindness and warmth touched the lives of many.

Born on March 26, 1976, Big Ben lived a life grounded in love, humility, and service to others. He was a man defined by his gentle spirit, unwavering love, and selfless nature.

As a husband, he was deeply devoted to his beloved wife, Sommer Iosefa, always offering steadfast support, care, and unconditional love. He was not only her partner, but her best friend—standing beside her through every moment with strength and compassion.

As a father, he took great pride in his children, Skylee-Rae Iosefa, Skyzen Iosefa, and Shayddon Calarruda. His love for his family was evident in all that he did, always placing them at the center of his life and guiding them with patience, wisdom, and a generous heart.

He is lovingly survived by his sisters, Sisipeni Morris (Chris) and Sarah Brinkley, and his brother, Victor Goodson (Marcela), as well as many extended family members and dear friends who will continue to cherish and honor his memory.

Big Ben had a remarkable way of making others feel seen, valued, and cared for. His kindness extended far beyond his immediate circle—to friends, neighbors, and even strangers. Whether through a simple conversation, a helping hand, or his genuine smile, he left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

He will be remembered for his compassion, humility, and the love he gave so freely. Though he is no longer with us, the memories he created and the love he shared will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

He is deeply missed and forever cherished.
