<p>Janet Rose Hall was born November 8, 1948 in Independence, Missouri to Anton and Rose Engelman. She died May 20, 2026.</p><p><br></p><p>Janet enjoyed the simple things in life most- spending time with her grandchildren, working on her quilting projects and sharing laughs with family and her many friends. She was a lifelong bowler who loved attending Nationals every June and was also a member of the Jaycees, where she formed many lasting friendships over the years. Janet’s warm heart and generous spirit, and love for her family will be remembered by all who knew her.</p><p><br></p><p>Janet is survived by her daughters Christine (fiancé Chris Kurtt) Catlin and Trisha Hall; her grandchildren Audrey McGough, Jacob Swartwood, Clara and Addison Catlin; her sister Judi (Don) Daniels; her step sisters Janice (Chatten) Scruggs and Shirley Hinkle and by her niece Toni Daniels.</p><p><br></p><p>She is preceded in death by her husband Gerald Hall; her brother Craig Engelman and by her parents.</p><p><br></p><p>A memorial visitation will be held, Sunday, May 24, 2026 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Heafey Hoffmann Dworak and Cutler, 7805 W.
