<p>Sandra J. Schuler</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Sandra J. Schuler, 82, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Baptist Attala Hospital in Kosciusko.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Funeral services will be Friday, July 3, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Culpepper Funeral Home Chapel in Kosciusko. Burial will follow at Coleman Cemetery in McAdams. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until service time.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Sandra was born to John Welk Jones and Mae Dickerson Jones on May 7, 1944, in Attala County, Mississippi. She was a faithful member of the McAdams Methodist Church since she was nine years old. She was employed with the Mississippi Department of Rehabilitation Services for 36 years. After retirement, she was employed with Attorney Jim Arnold for 20 years.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by two sons, James Bennon Schuler, Jr. (Lori), and Howard Shea Schuler (Allison), grandchildren, Matthew Schuler (Nicole), Chandler Schuler (Ronny Hadee, fiancé), Whitney Schuler (Trent Norris), Kathryn Clare Lack (Cody), Reed Schuler, Jackson Schuler, Denise Hutchison (Kirk), John Brantley, great grandchildren, Evalee and Elijah Brantley, brother-in-law, Jerry (Shirley) Byrd, sister-in-law Lily (Charles) Jones, and a host of nieces and nephews. Sandra was affectionally known as “Granny” to almost all young people who knew her.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Sandra was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, James B. Schuler, Jr., her parents, grandchildren, River, Rain and Grant Schuler, siblings and spouses, Juanita and George Mitchell, Dorothy and James “Jimmy” Ray, James “Jimmy” and Bobbye Jones, Shirley Jones Pittman Byrd and Charles Pittman (Jerry), Charles Jones (Lily), nephews Joey Byrd and Michael “Mike” Pittman, and great-great nephew, Andrew Mitchell.</p><p><br></p>May 7, 1944 - July 2, 202605/07/194407/02/2026
