<p>Suddenly on Wednesday, July 1st 2026 at the age of 54, Marcel “Muddy” Newberry of Bryson, Quebec, left this world to join his father, Lloyd.</p><p>Marcel is survived by his mother, Margo St. Pierre, his brother André (Belinda), his sister Louise (Jean-Pierre) and nieces Myriame, Maryse and nephew Jean-Michel. He will be greatly missed by his partner Lisa Fletcher and his special pal Tucker. Although not gifted with any of his own, he did step up and take on the stepfather role to eight children; Kamdan, Colten, Merissa, Kiana, Christian, Tanisha, Darien and Taylor. He was most proud of his 40 years on the Bryson Fire Department.</p><p><br></p><p>Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 in Immaculate Conception Church, Bryson, Quebec at 10:30 a.m. Interment parish cemetery. Donations to the Bryson Fire Department or the St. John’s Breakfast Club would be greatly appreciated.</p><p><br></p>
