<p><p style="text-align: justify">Dimock- Albin Joseph Brech, 67, of Dimock, South Dakota, went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, while under hospice care on his farm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 10, 2026, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Parkston, with Fr. Jerry Thury officiating. Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Thursday, July 9, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., followed by a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. A luncheon and time of fellowship will follow the burial at Sacred Heart Parish Hall. Arrangements are by Koehn Bros. Funeral Home in Parkston.</p></p><p><br></p><p><p style="text-align: justify">Albin was born on September 27, 1958, in Parkston, South Dakota, to Arthur and Bernice (Hohn) Brech. He attended Sacred Heart Catholic School and Parkston High School, graduating from Parkston High School in 1977. Following graduation, Albin dedicated his life to farming. A lifelong crop and livestock farmer, he raised cattle and hogs with great pride. His cattle were especially dear to him and were often considered his spoiled pets. Even throughout his five-year battle with cancer, Albin remained positive, hopeful, and grateful for each day. Farming was at the heart of Albin’s life, but he also found great joy in snowmobiling, riding the neighborhood roads on his side-by-side and four-wheeler while stopping to visit neighbors, and catching up with friends around town wherever people gathered. In his younger years, he enjoyed pheasant hunting. Known for his generous spirit, Albin was always willing to lend a helping hand to a neighbor, even while courageously battling illness. Albin was a member of the Ditchripper Snowmobile Club, National Farmers Organization and the Sacred Heart Cemetery Board, was an honorary Third Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, and faithfully served on the Starr Township Board.</p></p><p><br></p><p><p style="text-align: justify">He is lovingly remembered by his sister, Beverly (Bruce) Neugebauer of Dimock, South Dakota; his nephews, Gregory (Thyra) Neugebauer of Tea, South Dakota, and Matthew (Laura) Neugebauer of Letcher, South Dakota; his nieces, Patricia (Jason) Titze of Parkston, South Dakota, and Rebecca Neugebauer (special friend, Craig Kirk) of Sturgis, South Dakota; and his cherished grandnieces and grandnephews, Tevin Neugebauer, Vaughn Neugebauer, Maggie Neugebauer, Asher Neugebauer, Everleigh Neugebauer, Caleb Titze, Mackenzie Titze, Elliot Berger, Aubrey Moody, and Art Neugebauer.</p></p><p><br></p><p><p style="text-align: justify">He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Bernice Brech; his grandparents, William and Katie Hohn and Mathias and Catherine Brech; and numerous aunts and uncles.</p></p>September 27, 1958 - July 7, 202609/27/195807/07/2026
