Brenda Joyce Holloway

Funeral services for Brenda Joyce Holloway, age 77, of Wedowee will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Bro. Billy East officiating.  Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, July 9, 2026.

Mrs. Holloway passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at her residence.

Survivors include her husband, Junior Holloway of Wedowee; one daughter, Miranda Holloway of Wedowee; two sons, Randal Holloway (J’Lynn) of Panama City Beach, FL, and Shane Holloway (Teresa) of Vincent, AL; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Diane Wortham (Larry) of Wedowee; two brothers, James Moore (Brenda) of Wedowee and Charlie Moore (Ginger) of Dadeville; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Darren Moore, Dusty Moore, Wesley Wortham, Tanner Donahoo, Joey Williamson, and David Waldrop. Honorary pallbearers will be Ken Spradlin, Mike Spradlin, and Johnny Vice will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

A Wedowee native, Mrs. Holloway was born on March 16, 1949, the daughter of Charlie Howard and Edna Ruth Adamson Moore.  She was a member of Iduma Congregational Methodist Church and was a homemaker.  Mrs. Holloway was preceded in death by her parents.
