<p>ALBERT OLENO "OLY" DORATTI</p><p><br></p><p>With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Oly Doratti July 7, 2026, just shy of 94 years.</p><p><br></p><p>Oly was born July 12, 1932 in Trail. He later moved with his family to Rossland where he met and married Marie. Oly enjoyed many years of wood carving, hunting, making beer and the company of friends and family.</p><p><br></p><p>Oly will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Peggy Dubois, his son-in-law Lyle McLellan, granddaughters Candace McLellan, Kristy Pucek (Dave), Kara Tetrault (Ryan), Sarah Dubois (Brian) and Elyse Peterson (Juston), great grandchildren Hayden, Harper, Brock, Hannah, Allie, Ryker and Freyja. Also survived by his brother Lido (Goldie), sisters Diana Ungemach (Vic) and Lily Tracanelli.</p><p><br></p><p>He was predeceased by his wife Marie (nee Gresley-Jones), his son Tom Doratti, his daughter Patricia McLellan, his parents Adele and Albert, and brother Primo.</p><p><br></p><p>Oly's family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Rosewood Village for the special care he received in his time there.</p><p><br></p><p>There will be no service at this time. Andreas Schmitz of Clark’s Funeral Services has been entrusted with arrangements.</p><p><br></p><p>As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the charity of your choice in Oly's name.</p><p><br></p><p>You are invited to leave a personal message of condolence.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>Obituary
