Isabel Ojeda Bronx, New York Obituary

Isabel Ojeda

Isabel Ojeda, born on March 23, 1944, in Callao, Peru, was a woman of quiet strength, deep faith, and unwavering love. In 1982, she moved to the Bronx with her twin sons, Jimmy and Jonathan, and built a life rooted in resilience, devotion, and family. Isabel passed away on July 4th, America’s 250th birthday; a profoundly symbolic moment for her family. With limited resources and limitless determination, she brought her sons to this country for a better life, a gift they remain forever grateful for. Though she lived with an intellectual disability, she faced life with strength and grace and will be remembered for the warmth of her spirit, the comfort of her faith, and the loving words she often shared with her boys: “Todo va a salir bien, mis hijitos.” Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her sons, her five beloved grandchildren, and one grandchild on the way, who will forever cherish her tenderness, strength, and enduring love.
