J. C. Stowe, Sr.
<p>J. C. Stowe, Sr., 86, of Yellville, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2026, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. He was born on August 31, 1939, in New Caney, Texas to Richard and Viola (Singleton) Stowe. For over 50 years, J.C. evangelized and pastored numerous non-denominational churches. He loved the Lord Jesus with all his heart. Everywhere he would go, he greeted everyone with “Merry Christmas”, regardless of the time of year. He always said, “I celebrate the birth of our Savior each day inside my heart”. This was just another way for him to share the Love and Gospel of Jesus.</p><p>He is survived by two sons, Jerry Stowe and his wife, Angela and J. C. Stowe, Jr. and his wife, Victoria. He was affectionately known as “Pa-Pa” to six grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. J. C. was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Stowe; his parents and nine brothers and sisters.</p><p>Services will be private.</p><p><br></p><p></p>Obituary
