<p><p>Andrea L. Adey, 45 of Willmar, died on July 9, 2026 at Mother of Mercy Nursing Home in Albany. Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 13, 2026 at Nordland Lutheran Church in rural Paynesville. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Arrangements are with the Harvey Anderson and Johnson Funeral Home in Paynesville. www.hafh.org</p><br> <p>Andrea Lynn Adey was born on February 1, 1981 in St. Cloud Minnesota to Kevin Adey and Terra Lexow. She grew-up in the New London- Spicer area and was a proud graduate from NL-S in 2000. During her time in high school, she was active with Special Olympics participating in swimming, track, basketball, and bowling. Following her high school graduation, she attended the Ridgewater College life skills program graduating in 2002.</p><br> <p>As an adult, she remained active by participating in summer for horseshoes and winter curling. She frequently attended Elks dances and was a participant of ARC in Kandiyohi County, a nonprofit organization promoting inclusion and independence for adults with developmental disabilities. Andrea proudly worked in the deli at Teal’s Market in Spicer for more than 10 years.</p><br> <p>Andrea enjoyed spending her time with friends and family, online gaming and listening to the Backstreet Boys. She often dreamed of writing a book about living with Down Syndrome or becoming a famous jewelry maker.</p><br> <p>Andrea sadly passed on July 9, 2026 after being diagnosed with early onset dementia. She is survived by her father, Kevin (Wendy) Adey; sister, Bethany (Corey) Wendlandt; nieces, Alexa Lee, Isabella Wendlandt, and Cassandra Wendlandt and nephew, Colin Wendlandt. She was proceeded in death by her grandparents; mother, Terra Lexow; uncle, Ed Lexow, and niece, Hailey Wendlandt.</p><br> <p>Family would like to send a special thank you to Mother of Mercy in Albany and CentraCare Hospice for their care provided over the past two years.</p></p>

I remember watching her open Christmas gifts at Kevin's and Wendy's home .That year she got a black leather jacket .She was so excited that smile.She brought so much joy to the world . Rest easy Sweetheart We love you Auntie Shelly & uncle Tom
