Kirk Terrel Boone Brooklyn, New York Obituary

Kirk Terrel Boone

In Loving Memory of Kirk Terrell Boone

With a pain that words could never fully describe, we announce the passing of our beloved Kirk Terrell Boone — a devoted husband, an incredible father, a proud grandfather, a brother, a friend, and a hero to so many.

Kirk was more than the titles he carried. He was our protector, our strength, our laughter, and the person we could always count on. His presence filled a room, and his love filled our lives. Losing him has left a space in our hearts that can never be replaced.

For Abby, Kirk was not just her husband. He was her best friend, her partner, her safe place, and the love of her life. They met in 2002 and married on December 9, 2005, building a beautiful life together through every joy, challenge, laugh, and tear. Their love was real, strong, and deeply rooted. A lifetime together could never have been enough.

Kirk’s greatest pride was his family. He loved his sons, Anthony, Aaron, and Aiden, with everything he had. He was proud of the men they became and carried that pride in his heart every single day. Becoming a grandfather to his precious granddaughter, Ava, brought a new kind of joy into his life. She held a very special place in her Grandpa’s heart.

Kirk dedicated 27 years of his life to serving and protecting others as a member of the New York City Police Department. He proudly served 12 years in the 75th Precinct and 15 years with the Emergency Service Unit K-9 Unit. He spent his life running toward situations others would run from. He was courageous, strong, and committed to helping people — but to us, his greatest role was simply being Kirk.

He was the man who made us laugh. The man who made us feel protected. The man whose love didn’t always need words because you could feel it in everything he did.

Kirk, you were loved beyond words, and you will be missed beyond measure. We will carry you with us in every memory, every story, every laugh, and every moment we wish you were here.

Your boys will carry your strength.

Your granddaughter will grow up knowing exactly how much her Grandpa loved her.

And Abby will carry your love in her heart for the rest of her life.

This is not goodbye, Kirk.

It is simply until we meet again.

Forever my husband.

Forever their Dad.

Forever her Grandpa.

Forever our hero.

We love you, Kirk. Always and forever. ❤️
