<p><p>Mrs. Maire Terry, 78 of Berry, was welcomed into Heaven July 11, 2026.</p><br> <p>Funeral services will be held Monday, July 13, 2026 at 12-P.M. from Alta Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The body will lie in state Monday from 11-A.M. till 12-P.M. at the church.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><br> <p>Marie loved the Lord and she would tell everyone He was the bestest friend she ever had. She was a founding and life long member of Alta Baptist Church in Berry.&nbsp;</p><br> <p>She was preceded in death by her parents: Revered Houston Brand and Sally Mae Boshell Brand, husband of 47 years: James Washington Terry, and later Michael Sanford, her son: Daniel Terry, granddaughter: Leaty Terry, brothers: Paul, Sam Donald, Leonard, Houston Brand, Jr. "Junior", Arnold, and James "Jim", sisters: Dorothy "Dot", Helen, and Velma "Belle".</p><br> <p>She is survived by her sons: David Terry and Joshua Terry (Casey), brothers: Robert Brand (Hollie) and Joe Brand (Janice), and sisters: Evelyn Segrest, and Viloa "Kathleen" Thursby, grandsons: Jason and Trey Terry (Alina), granddaughters: Deanna and Noella Terry, and a host of nieces and nephews.&nbsp;</p><br> <p>A special thank you to the caring staff at Fayette Long Term Care.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p></p>
