Obituary

Betty Bauer passed away peacefully on July 8, 2026, at Havenwood Senior Living in Minnetonka, Minnesota. The love of her life, her husband John, was by her side.

Betty was born during a snowstorm on her family's farm in Weston, Wisconsin, to Earl and Leola Anderson.

She enjoyed playing with her grandchildren on their visits to the farm and going to their sporting and school events. She lovingly tended to a small herd of cats in Oldham. Betty loved traveling with John. They explored most of the United States and traveled as far away as Australia and New Zealand.

Betty is survived by John Bauer, her husband of 63 years, son Doug Bauer (Kay), daughter Carla McKim (Kirk), and grandchildren Catriona McKim and Liam McKim.
