<p>Theresa E. Pendleton, 92, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 11, 2026 in Overlook Nursing Ctr. In Pascoag, RI with her family by her side. Born on November 22, 1933, in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, Theresa's life was a testament to her loving, kind, and thoughtful nature.</p><p><br></p><p>Theresa was the beloved wife of the late Charles W. Pendleton, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories and unwavering partnership. Together, they raised a family that became her pride and joy. She is survived by her sons, Charles W. Pendleton, Jr. and his wife Judy of Crossville, TN, David J. Pendleton, Sr. and his wife Lori of Harrisville, RI; her loving daughter, Nancy Gould of Douglas. Theresa was a guiding light in the lives of her eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren, who will carry her legacy forward with love and admiration. She was predeceased by her son-in-law Ralph Gould, brothers Emile Belisle, Wilfred Belisle, and sisters Rose Cherwinski, Lucille Kimbler and Connie Lamoureaux.</p><p><br></p><p>Theresa's professional life was marked by her role as a forklift operator for the Neles-Jamesbury Company, where she was respected for her work ethic and camaraderie. Her colleagues remember her as a dedicated and reliable member of the team, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a word of encouragement.</p><p><br></p><p>An avid golfer, Theresa's passion for the sport was evident to all who joined her on the greens. She was a three-time club golf champion at Blissful Meadows, a title that spoke volumes about her skill and determination. Golf was more than a hobby for Theresa; it was a way for her to connect with friends, enjoy the outdoors, and challenge herself. She also loved having a hole-in-one at a golf club in Florida.</p><p><br></p><p>Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2026 from 4:30 – 6 PM in the Valley Chapel, 14 Hunter Road, Uxbridge followed by a funeral service at 6 PM in the sanctuary of the church.</p><p><br></p><p>Burial will be private at a later date.</p><p><br></p><p>Memorial donations may be made to the Valley Chapel, 14 Hunter Rd., Uxbridge, MA 01569 or to the Portsmouth Camp Meeting Assoc., 69 Hedley St., Portsmouth, RI 02871.</p>
