Marion Levy
<p>Marion Libby Levy (nee Hoppenstein), of Ocean View, DE, passed away on Friday, July 10th 2026, at the age of 89. She is survived by her loving sons, Marty (Janeli) Levy and Samuel (Laura) Levy; beloved grandchildren, Elliot (Jessica) Levy and Douglas Levy; adored great grandchildren, Anya Levy and Mereya Levy; and many cherished nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Alvin Levy; caring siblings, Jack Hoppenstein and Norman Hoppenstein; and dear parents, Abraham and Reba Hoppenstein.</p><p><br></p><p>Marion cherished her family and took great pride in her Jewish heritage. She found joy in life's simple, creative pursuits, with a special passion for creating stained glass ornaments, crocheting, knitting, cooking, reading, and tending to her garden. Her warmth, creativity, and love for those around her will be remembered by all who knew her.</p><p><br></p><p>Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Wednesday, July 15th, 2026, at 12:00 pm. Interment Bnai Israel Cemetery. Please omit flowers. Contributions in her memory may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
