<p>Johnny Dwight Talkington age 67 of Dalton, GA died Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Hamilton Medical Center. A Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday, July 16, 2026 at 6 PM CT at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel with Bro. Tommy Turner officiating. Family will receive friends from 4 PM CT until service time.</p><p><br></p><p>Johnny was born October 23, 1958 in Scottsboro, AL to parents, Troy Lee "Pete" and Imogene Anderson Talkington. He attended Pisgah High School and later obtained his GED. He had worked at Taylor Tire in Dalton, GA for over 20 years. He was a proud Alabama fan who lived, worked and enjoyed the rivalry with those Bulldog fans.</p><p><br></p><p>Survivors include daughter, Casey Wilborn(LaDon), granddaughters, Bailey Mitchell(Clay), Maggie Carroll(Levi), great-granddaughter, Rollins Grace Carroll, sisters, Shelia Kennedy(James), Jan Grider(Kenneth), along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Judy Porter, brothers, Harry Talkington and Melvin Talkington.</p>Obituary
