Michael Hollis Baldree

<p><p>Mr. Michael Hollis Baldree, 64, LULING, formerly of TROUP, went to be with the Lord on July 12, 2026 surrounded by family and friends in Luling. He was born on March, 1962 in Austin, to Myrthal Hollis Baldree and Yyonne Hammett Baldree.</p><p><br></p><p>Mike graduated from TROUP High School in 1980, he then attended Stephen F. Austin State University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Education and a Master’s of education. Mike was a beloved teacher and coach in Corsicana ISD, Thorndale ISD, Athens ISD, and Alto ISD. He later served as Business Manager at Liberty ISD, and School Superintendent at both Blooming Grove IDS and Leon ISD where he retired from in 2016. One of his greatest joys was when he became an ordained deacon at Mt Carmel Baptist Church. He was always proud to serve. His cherished accomplishment was being Grandad to Holly and Ally.</p><p><br></p><p>He was proceeded in death by his parents and nephew Corey Randall Shaw. He is survived by his wife, Pamela Hill Baldree of Luling: daughter Megan Ann Baldree of Whitehouse: son Robert Aaron Baldree and wife Kayla Jackson Baldree of Converse: brother William Randal Baldree and wife Mary Clark Baldree of Whitehouse: nephews William Dustin Baldree and wife Corinne Oliver Baldree of Calgary and Hunter Dean Hill of Kingsbury: grandchildren Holly Marie Baldree and Alexandra Grace Baldree of Converse, Brother-in-law Harold Wayne Hill and wife Neveda Hopkins Hill of Kingsbury. Great niece Nevaeh Emily Shaw of Whitehouse: great nephews Corey Randall Shaw II of Whitehouse, Jaxen Oliver Baldree of Calgary, Camden James Baldree of Calgary and many other family and friends.</p><p><br></p><p>The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday July 13, 2026 at O’Bannon Funeral Home. A second visitation will be held Thursday July 16, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Whitehouse, Texas. Services will follow at 2:00 PM at Mount Carmel Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Duncan Cemetery in Henderson, Texas. Services in Henderson area will be under the care and direction of Crawford-A Crim Funeral Home, 1414 S. Main St., Henderson, Tx 75654.</p><p><br></p></p>

Mike was a lager than life guy. He always had some great advice or a funny joke to tell you when you were in his presence. I am so thankful that he was my Superintendent for many years when I was at BG. I am so grateful to have known you brother.
