Malon Veronica Graham Foster

Mrs. Malon Veronica Graham Baldon Foster, 64, transitioned from her earthly home on July 11, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. surrounded by love. By her side were her daughters; Kela and Marvie; her son, Billy; her granddaughter;, Destiny; her grandson, Chance; her bonus son, William; her sister, Alberta (Henry) Finley; and other cherished family members. Malon was born on August 26, 1961, in Myrtle, Mississippi to Mr. Collins Carl Graham and Mrs. Birdie Mae Graham. She received her early education at BF Ford and WP Daniel school in Union County. She later continued her education at Northeast Mississippi Community College before graduating at the top of her class from the University of Phoenix, earning her Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree in Business and Master's degree Project Management. Malon lived in Niagara Falls, New York, for a short time while raising her three children. She also briefly resided in Columbus, Missouri before returning home to Mississippi, where she remained until her passing. Malon was united in marriage to Billy Baldon, and from that union three beautiful children were born. Years later, she married Will Foster. Although no children were born from that union, she continued to pour love into the lives of many. Affectionately known as "Mommy," "Ma," "NaNa," "Veronica," and "Mal," she was a woman whose presence brought light, peace, courage, inspiration, and realness into every room she entered. She was defined by her ambition, her compassionate heart, her unwavering faith, her determination, and her remarkable strength. She had a unique ability to make people feel seen, encouraged, and loved. To know her was to be impacted by her. Malon enjoyed the simple things that made life beautiful. She loved playing the lottery, going to bingo with friends, creating crafts with her grands, learning new skill sets, inspiring others, sitting quietly in nature, reading her Bible, singing her favorite blues and gospel songs. She loved her cigarettes, traveling, eating crab legs, and spending time watching movies with her grandbabies. She possessed a God-given discernment that amazed those around her. She often knew when something wasn't right, yet she would patiently wait until you invited her into your situation (Most times...lol). Some of her favorite words of wisdom were:"God is a healer." "If you're worrying, there's no need for God to worry too. Give it to God and let Him work it out." "Be patient." "Learn to forgive those who have wronged or hurt you, and you'll live a better life." "Be Still and let God." "Don't worry about tomorrow" These were far more than sayings, they were the principles by which she lived. She was building a legacy that will flourish for generations to come. She will truly be missed by so many. We only wish she could have witnessed the countless lives she touched and the tremendous love so many have for her. Malon was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Collins E. Graham and Mrs. Birdie Mae Graham; and her brothers, Thomas Graham, Joe Billy graham, Charles Cleveland Graham, and Jefferson Carl Graham. She leaves to cherish her precious memories her six sisters: Mary Freeman, Joyce Ann Hollis, Cassie Bass, Allie Calhoun, Alberta (Henry) Finley, and Marvie Ball; her loving children, LaKelar Cook, Marvie Graham, and Billy Baldon, II (Renita), all of Southaven, Mississippi; her honorary son, William Freeman, (Amy) of Arkansas; and her beloved grandchildren; Brittany, Isaiah, Jasmine of Oxford, Mississippi, Izehunna, Destiny, Chance, Brice, and Brayden, along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were forever enriched by knowing her. Today, she rests in God's perfect peace, reunited with those who went before, leaving behind a void that can never be filled, yet a love that will never be forgotten. her legacy lives on in every life she touched, every lesson she taught, and every heart she forever changed. Services will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 12 Noon, at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 722 Coulter Drive, New Albany, MS  38652. Body will lie in state one hour before service time. Burial will take place at United House of Prayer Church Cemetery, 1750 County Road 825, Blue Mountain, MS  38610. Arrangements entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home of New Albany, MS.
