Obituary
David A. Kramer, longtime La Grande, Oregon resident of Hermiston, was born on July 16, 1940 in Marysvale, Utah to parents, Paul L. Kramer and Ardeth M. (Tanner) Kramer. He died on July 30, 2026 in Pendleton, Oregon at the age of 86 years. David was raised in Marysvale, Utah and later in Vale, Oregon where he graduated High School. He then worked as a logger in Alaska for Murray Gildersleeve Logging, living on a float camp. David moved to La Grande, Oregon in 1970 and worked in logging until 1975 when he went to auctioneer school in Montana. He then was a partner in K & R Auction in La Grande before owning and operating La Grande Auction until retiring in 2015. David then moved to the Hermiston - Irrigon area where he has lived since. He enjoyed crappie fishing, buying storage units in Portland and loved to wheel and deal. David was a longtime active member of the Seventh day Adventist Church.
He is survived by his sons: Paul (Tracy) Kramer, Irrigon, OR, David Kramer, Aaron Folsom (Sherri), Cove, OR; daughter: Danni Folsom, Florida; brother: Gene Kramer, Caldwell, ID; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his wife: Darlene Kramer, his parents, sisters: Pauline and Laura and a brother, Bill.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at Burns Mortuary Chapel, Hermiston, Oregon.
