<p><p>Obituary</p><p>Lloyd Preacher Sr.</p><p><br></p><p>Lloyd passed away at his home on August 3, 2026.&nbsp;Lloyd was born on July 29, 1959 to Irene and Wilson Preacher.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Lloyd grew up in Gibson and he loved to spend time at the cabin on the Fort Hall Bottoms and the old homestead of his ancestors in Lincoln Creek.&nbsp;He graduated from Blackfoot High School in 1977.&nbsp;He enjoyed playing pool, hunting/fishing, doing pen &amp; ink artwork and being outdoors and riding his Indian Motorcycle.</p><p><br></p><p>Lloyd grew up with his brothers Willie and Delbert, and sister Janice Santanus and all his nieces and nephews.&nbsp;He was known as the “King of the little people” because he would help take care of his nieces and nephews during the summer months.&nbsp;&nbsp;He grew up on the ranch with his Alden and Delbert taking care of the cattle.&nbsp;&nbsp;Lloyd loved to spend time with family where he would tease, play pranks, and making everyone laugh, and he loved his Kentucky Fried Chicken.</p><p><br></p><p>He worked several jobs, he was a Journeyman Ironworker with Local 732.&nbsp;He worked at FMC with Cole Steel, INEL with contractors and wherever he was dispatched.&nbsp;He was a man of steel and loved all his brothers in the union.&nbsp;Some of his closest brothers were the Iron workers he always wanted to see them and spend time with them.</p><p><br></p><p>Lloyd was married to Daliah Uribe Teton and Wyoma Marshall Tendoy.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by his children Lloyd Preacher Jr, Mariah and Celene Preacher.&nbsp;He loved all his nieces and nephews he grew up with Lenora Lavatta, Lynette Mosho (Edgar Ponzo), Alden (Candace) Mosho, Tammy (Gerard) Mosho, Thelma (Russ) Alsup, Christine (Carl) Lewis, Wendy (Bryce) Hall, Desirae (Keagan) Wheeler and Dwight Santanus.&nbsp;He had several grandchildren Caleb Preacher, Aaliyah, Etta, Aiyannah and James Preacher-Moss, Ratisami Preacher-Suapilimai, and Irene Peacher, Kyla, Karl, Beau Mosho, Sarah Snipe, Nettie Ann Mosho, Steven Ponzo, Orion, Eliza, Julius Kirkland-Wheeler and one great-grand child Daliah Preacher.</p><p><br></p><p>He is preceded in death by his parents Irene and Wilson Preacher, his siblings Marcella Shoyo, Ramond Testivo, Evelyn Wheeler, Delbert Farmer, Willie Preacher, Janice Santanus, a daughter-Rayana Hill, and one nephew Clifton Mosho.</p><p><br></p><p>Lloyd will be missed by all, and happy he gets to see his mom and dad, brothers and sisters.&nbsp;Journey well Uncle Lloyd. We love you and will miss you greatly.</p><p><br></p><p>Lloyd will be taken to the Lavatta residence on Truchot Road for viewing on Thursday, August 6, 2026. Services will also be held at the Lavatta residence Thursday evening at 6:00 p.m. Traditional burial will be in the Gibson Cemetery at 12:00 p.m. Friday, August 7, 2026.</p><p><br></p><p>The family is under the care of the Hawker Funeral Home.</p></p>
